At the last HHOA Board meeting it was decided to get bids for a new dock at Park B. The old dock was a donated wood dock that had seen better days and for safety sake it was decided that a new dock was required. Bids were sought and the lowest bid was won by Captains Choice Docks in St. Johns MI. So last Thursday Stuart and Judy Hazle delivered the dock to Park B and Mark Lockwood and Stuart installed the dock. The docks at 5 of our parks were installed this last Saturday on April 18. It was one of the most interesting installs in the last 10 years. What made it interesting was all the extra rain that we have received in Michigan, the lake was 12-14 inches higher than the usual springtime in April. This made it difficult to adjust some of the supports on the docks, we will have to wait for the lake to go down some or find another way to get the posts down and adjusted.
