Committee Report

Blight: Kelley Hammis reported continued progress and encouraged residents to email

the HOA or contact her directly with concerns.

Cato Township: Hemlock Dr. road work has been completed.  Pea stone has been

placed on Lakeshore Dr./Birch Dr.

Lights: Susie Zwingman reported all lights are currently operational. Cato Township

continues to reserve funding for any needed replacements.

Docks: Stuart Hazle stated the HOA may coordinate with the Montcalm County Marine

Patrol regarding unauthorized boats. If owners do not respond to official notification,

Jerry’s Boat Yard will tow and store the boat. A motion on this process will be required

at the first meeting of 2027. A rowboat remains at Park B and a paddle boat at Park C1.

Ben Gonzalez and Tyler Evanzo will move the paddle boat to the homeowner’s property.

Parks: Volunteers plan to paint the remaining signs and posts, and several posts will

need replacement. Plans are already in place to replace picnic table boards during the

Spring 2027 cleanup, and post replacements will likely occur at that time. Gravel work

near Parks N and A is expected to be completed in the fall, along with installing a bike

rack on Park C1. The basketball/pickleball court still needs to be surveyed, but Tingley

has not responded. Volunteer participation in Adopt-A-Park has been strong, and no

recent complaints have been made regarding Scoob’s work.

Website: No updates reported.
