HHOA Trunk or Treat

I know this is late, but some events at HHOA need to be reported, even though late it was a great time.

This last October 30th Honeymoon Heights had their first Trunk or Treat, it was brought up at a September HHOA meeting, and everyone thought it was a good idea. Kim Johnson and Jamie Gonzales headed up the advertising, decorating and recruiting of Trunks for the

event.

The Trunk or Treat event was held at the HHOA clubhouse, with at least 10 Trunks present for anyone to check out and sample the varieties of Treats made available to everyone. At least 50 children came and greatly enjoyed what was offered, we also saw many adults sampling the wares also. There was a great variety of candy offered though I was personally disappointed that out of all the candy offered there, no Almond Joys were to be found, maybe next year.

Everyone thought it was a great success and were talking about making this an annual event. Maybe even having a fire pit to warm up to and roast a few marshmallows and Hot dogs. I don't know about you, but I plan on going this year in 2026.
