Minutes for September 18, 2025 Meeting

Reading of Minutes

August 21, 2025, meeting minutes were read and approved with the following corrections: The

Treasurer’s Report ending balance should be $14,530.90;

New Business 3) “The HHOA enjoy 16 developed parks…”

Ben Gonzalez made a motion to approve the minutes as revised; Kelley Hammis seconded. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report

Beginning Balance as of August 1, 2025 $  14,530.90

Credits/Deposits – Dues     625.00    

Debits/Expenses               (47.10)

Ending Balance – August 31, 2025,  $  15,108.80

Motion to accept treasurer’s report made by Ben Gonzalez; seconded by Bonnie Weber Visser.

Old Business

1. Community fall clean-up of parks- postponed until spring

2. Several park billboards require maintenance

3. Revisited “Adopt a Park” program, whereby 2 to 3 families agree to maintain park(s) near

their residence in lieu of paying annual dues for up to 4 lots owned. Discussion ongoing.

4. We need to create wording for the change to our Bylaws regarding the two-week limit on

camping in HH. 

New Business

1. Removal of docks scheduled for October 18th. Volunteers are needed.

2. Road millage for “Lakeshore District” pending addition to ballot for voters.

3. Three parks should be re-surveyed for possible encroachment: Park A, C1,

tennis/pickleball courts.

4. Park B dock will be removed. Judy Hazle will research the cost of new docks as they are

less expensive this time of year. She will present a financial overview at the next meeting

to determine if there are sufficient funds to support the purchase.

5. The Board unanimously voted to add Bonnie Weber Visser as second signer to our

checking account.

Ben Gonzalez made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Susie Zwingman seconded. Meeting

dismissed. 

The next meeting of the HHOA Board of Directors is scheduled for 7 p.m. on October 16th at the

HHOA Clubhouse.
